Opened in 2002, Pretzel Productions is a Saint John, New Brunswick-based full-service event planning company specializing in event and conference creative development, logistics, planning, production, and project management, serving clients both here in New Brunswick and across the globe.
Beth Richardson, Owner and Event Strategist
For over 25 years Beth has been applying her creative and organizational skills in the event and hospitality industries. With a degree in Theatrical Design and English Literature, her diverse background also includes experience in professional theatre, including: set, lighting and costume design, music and performing arts tour planning and management, festival development, stage management, as well as national conference sales and hospitality. In 2021, she also completed a Certificate in Digital Strategy and Communications Management through the University of Toronto.
Prior to opening Pretzel Productions in 2002, she worked as the Event and Sponsorship Specialist for an international software company, planning and managing their worldwide event and trade show program. The position gave Beth an opportunity to create and manage corporate events and tradeshow appearances for the company from Australia to Amsterdam, and all stops in between.
Beth is currently a Board member of the Saint John Theatre Company and is a member of both PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) and CanSPEP (Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners).
Liz Martin, Event and Project Manager
Liz is a seasoned COO and project manager with nearly 20 years of experience in project management, public relations, and leadership to deliver innovative and impactful solutions for clients and partners. She holds a Master's degree in Project Management with a specialization in leadership, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Liz’s past experience in the hospitality industry and conference services provides her with a critical insight to the inner working of the hotel and events industry.
Liz has been an indispensible member of the Pretzel Productions team since 2015 and is passionate about building and supporting high-performing teams that achieve and exceed client and project goals and expectations.
